The complete renovation and refurbishment of this Victorian property to generate 5,000 sq.ft of family-friendly space over four floors involved the entire reconfiguration of the ground and first floor, as well as a new basement level to house a gym, bespoke wine cellar, utility room, playroom with extensive storage and cinematic screen. Working closely with the architects to design a contemporary extension in deliberate contrast to the original part of the house, Oliver Bea successfully created comfortable, inviting zones within the huge open-plan space.
